Nolan Dale and Brandon Kibler both had lifetime bests in their 50 and 100 freestyle with Nolan advancing to the East-West State meet individually in the 100 free. The swim of the day came when Nolan and Brandon teamed up with Mark Myers and Ethan Dale to advance in the 200 free relay with a time of 1:48.34, placing them on the LHY top 5 list!
15 and Over
Coming off of the emotional high of the PIAA District 6/9 swim meet our Senior swimmers came out and gave a pretty good effort clocking a lot of solid swims. Jordan Suter swam a 2:00.25 in the 200 Freestyle, earning him a spot on LHY’s top 5 list. Phil Rodo improved his place on the list by going 23.79 in the 50 freestyle.
9-10
Emma Persun were the only two girls representing the Loggerheads at the District meet, and they'll also be at the State meet! Emma dropped 1.44 seconds to advance in the 50 fly with a time of 35.99. Avery Mahoney dropped 2.63 seconds to go 36.86 in the 50 back and is moving on! Thomas Haftl was the lone boy representative, and though his day was over quickly (swan just the 50 free) he made a great impact by finishing out with a lifetime best!
11-12
Julius Tomalonis had a solid performance in the 200 free clocking a time of 2:28.97. Michelle Haftl had drops in both of her events, going a lifetime best in the 200 free at 2:23.58, and the 50 back with a 33.83, both of which were Top 5 performances.
